When we receive progressive materials containing new ideas and information relevant to our community, these are often translated to Bengali and distributed to the local people. KNOWLEDGE
At this time, we are currently only accepting skilled volunteers. If you possess skills or an educational background that may be beneficial to our organization, we look forward to hearing from you. On-site accommodation and meals will be provided for the right candidates.
VOLUNTEERING
We are currently putting a call out for volunteers who are qualified filmmakers interested in collaborating on a documentary about our organization and our work with the indigenous tribal and Indo-Mongol villagers of the Eklakhi region. This unique experience will allow you to work closely with this isolated population and document the changes that are occurring as the tribal communities cope with their relative poverty in modern India while trying to maintain their identity and move forward with their cultural traditions intact.
Must have experience with documentary filmmaking and be able to provide samples of your work. Must be willing to live in rural India for an extended length of time to see the project through to completion. Must be able to provide your own film crew and equipment.
